How come the City of Cocoa is not on our local news with updates?

The City of Cocoa staff is working closely with the Brevard County Emergency Management office to coordinate all communication efforts for this public health emergency. For all items specifically pertaining to the City of Cocoa (including closures, facilities and employees), our website and social media pages are updated with new information regularly. Staff also sends out press releases to the local media. Local news for Brevard County does include Orlando as well, so our residents will get a lot of news regarding the City of Orlando and Orange County. Brevard County will have regular press conferences with updated information which can be found on Space Coast Government TV and their social media pages.
