Chief Evander Collier IV administered the oath of office last Friday during a special ceremony with Todd’s family, friends and new colleagues at the police department. Todd is the third of four boys born and raised in Winter Park. He is the first in the family to join the ranks of law enforcement. After high school, Todd joined the U.S Marines and served as an ammunition tech for 4-years in Camp Lejune, North Carolina. Todd recently graduated from the Criminal Justice Academy at Osceola Technical College in Kissimmee. He finished second in his academic class. He is married and has a 2-year-old daughter. Todd will spend the next several months in orientation and training. He must successfully complete four phases of field training and evaluation before being deployed for solo patrol duties.
