The City of Cocoa announced the launch of a fully integrated web chat assistant to help automate customer service for its website visitors. The chatbot, Ask Cocoa, was launched in partnership with Citibot, the leading provider of interactive chat solutions for local government.
Ask Cocoa is a built-in web assistant that integrates with Cocoa’s website and interacts with visitors to make it easier for them to get quick answers to questions, and submit service requests. Developed leveraging the latest AI-driven chatbot technology, machine learning, and natural language processing, Ask Cocoa can handle the day-to-day needs of government and residents.
To chat with Ask Cocoa, residents can visit the city's website cocoafl.gov where both desktop and mobile users will notice the feature on the bottom right section of their browser window. Clicking on the icon launches the chat window, greeting residents and prompting them to enter their questions.
"Providing this new feature on our website is a significant step forward in enhancing access to local government information. This innovative tool will provide our residents with instant access to information, streamline searches, and ensure a more accessible local government," said Cocoa Mayor Michael C. Blake. "We are committed to implementing new technology to better serve our community and make resources and information easily accessible for all of our residents, businesses, and visitors."
“Government websites are rich with content, which makes it hard for some residents to quickly find the information they need,” said Bratton Riley, CEO of Citibot. “We’re excited to launch Ask Cocoa to help provide a better web experience while improving efficiency and customer service for the city of Cocoa’s residents. People’s expectations of high-quality customer service are ever-increasing. Municipalities like the city of Cocoa are leading the way by delivering powerful solutions to maximize efficiency and enhance access to information and services.”
