[ARCHIVED] Groundbreaking Ceremony to be held Nov 14th for Provost Park Redevelopment

Provost Park Groundbreaking Ceremony, Tuesday, November 14th 9am at Provost Park

The City of Cocoa is excited to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for the reconstruction of Provost Park, a significant milestone in the revitalization of this community park. The event will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at 9am at the construction entrance of Provost Park along Fiske Blvd. Residents and community leaders are invited to join us to celebrate the commencement of this transformative project.

The new design promises to enhance the park's functionality and accessibility, ensuring that it remains a hub of positive community activity for generations to come. The park will be undergoing a number of renovations including the construction of a new multi-purpose field, brand new fencing, irrigation, reconstruction of two basketball courts, two new pickleball courts, a new parking lot, a new scoreboard, and new field lighting. 

The groundbreaking ceremony will be held in conjunction with W&J Construction and will include light refreshments. The event is free and open to the public to join in celebrating the start of this great community project.
