[ARCHIVED] 2021 Drop Savers Poster Contest

Drop Savers Poster Contest Division 3 Winner_Cocoa Utilities Dept

The Cocoa Utilities Department invited students in the Cocoa water service area to participate in the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association’s (FSAWWA) "Drop Savers" poster contest. Students in grades K-12 were encouraged to create a poster depicting a water conservation idea, in slogan form, drawing form, or both. The contest teaches elementary aged school children and reminds middle and high school aged teens about the importance of water conservation. Our best opportunity to conserve water is through a long-range education and awareness program, and what better way than to begin with our young people.

This year’s winners are:

Division 1 (Kindergarten and 1st Grade): Hogan Hayes, 1st Grade, Andersen Elementary School

Division 2 (2nd and 3rd Grade): Skylar Boleman, 3rd Grade, Audubon Elementary School

Division 3 (4th and 5th Grade): Julianna Blalock, 5th Grade, Anderson Elementary School

Division 4 (Middle School: 6th, 7th and 8th Grade): Jessica Levine, 6th Grade, Audubon Elementary School
