In an effort to continue to provide a high level of service to the Cocoa community, the City of Cocoa is now offering online permitting for things such as window replacements, plumbing and electrical work, fences, HVAC replacement, sheds and more. All permits will be offered online beginning Monday, April 12, 2021. Through a new online portal, residents and business owners are able to apply for a permit, pay fees, view policies, view submittal requirements and schedule inspections.

The new system which went live on March 1, 2021 allows our residents to submit permit requests from the comfort of their own home and track the permit through the approval process. Permits will still be accepted in-person at the Building and Permitting office, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm at City Hall. Same day and over the counter permits will also continue every Wednesday from 8-11am in the Building and Permitting office at City Hall.

“By offering this new online permitting portal, doing business with the City of Cocoa will now be easier than ever. We are continually looking for ways to make accessing city services easier and more convenient for our residents and business owners,” said Cocoa Mayor Michael C. Blake.

Visit the City of Cocoa website, for a complete list of permits available through the new online portal or for any questions or additional information about the building and permitting division.
