Founded in the City of Cocoa in October 2013, AGTeck principals Ani Giragosian and Win Everett have 55 years of combined aerospace engineering experience. It was this wisdom and local knowledge that lead to the establishment of this small parts component manufacturer. After being awarded a matching grant in the amount of $7,500.00 through Cocoa’s Small Business Assistance Program, AGTeck is now ISO9001:2008/AS9100C certified.
AGTeck is proudly classified as Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned (EDWOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Minority-Owned, ITAR registered, and HUBZone certified, giving the business a unique point of view on the importance of a local workforce. Drawing on local talent pools, three of the five recent hires came to them from the Veteran’s Center in Cocoa. The new staff will soon be designing and building a wide range of components and machined parts for the aerospace, naval and defense industries. Additionally, AGTeck is a subcontractor for Coastal Steel, Inc., another Cocoa business, capitalizing on the benefit of local synergies.
Future business plans include program/management solutions for program/project management, engineering management, model based design engineering, and life cycle support. AGTeck aims to continue attending industry conferences, meeting with prime contractors and customers, and investing in further training and certifications.
