Cheers Seafood & Grill
February 1, 2016 - When given the opportunity to open a restaurant in the Cocoa Commons plaza, Neil Shastri, a seasoned Cocoa business owner, wanted to create an establishment the community would be proud to patronize. Serving fried gator tail and a cheerful atmosphere, the resulting business is a great addition to the City of Cocoa.
Cheers Seafood & Grill opened its doors on October 2, 2015 offering a full liquor bar, patio seating, and trivia night as well as an extensive selection of always fresh, never frozen menu items. The most popular items include crab cakes, clam chowder and the grouper sandwich. The chowder has proven so popular that Cheers has entered it into the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber’s 31st Annual Chowder Cook-Off taking place on Thursday, February 4 at Port Canaveral’s Cruise Terminal 1. Cheers is confident their chowder is going to be a crowd favorite and encourages all to visit their booth at the event.
Considering the success of the business thus far, Neil is already brainstorming future restaurant ideas. He hopes to bring another fresh establishment to the community he loves to serve.
