The City of Cocoa has a number of various boards and committees comprised of residents, business owners and others to assist City Council in their decision making processes. It is also a great way for residents to engage with and learn more

about their local government.

The Cocoa Community Redevelopment Agency was established in 1985 for the purposes of carrying out redevelopment projects and activities for the historic Cocoa Village community. The board consists of seven members, five of which are filled by the current

Cocoa City Council members and the other two positions are residents or business owners in the redevelopment area that are appointed by members of the Cocoa City Council.

There is one vacancy on this board, that will be filled by an appointee at a June or July Council meeting. For more information on this board, its members and activities, please visit our Cocoa CRA website.
