Procedures to File a Complaint
Complaints may be filed by coming to the Cocoa Police Department Lobby during normal business.
- Hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- To speak with a supervisor, you should contact the Communications Center by picking up the red phone located on the wall in the lobby
- Request to speak to a supervisor regarding a complaint
- A supervisor will be dispatched to the lobby to speak with you
Complaints may also be filed by contacting the Cocoa Police Department Internal Affairs Section, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm by phone at (321) 637-6310.
After Hours
After hours you may go to the entrance on the east side of the building and press the call button. You will be connected to the Communications Center where you will be buzzed into a waiting room and a supervisor will be dispatched to the waiting room to speak with you.
