How to Apply for Jobs
Interested applicants and current City employees can apply online for employment opportunities by clicking on the 'View All Open Positions' button.
Follow the steps below to apply for one of our open positions:
CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON NEOGOV
BUILD YOUR ONLINE APPLICATION
After your account has been established, you can build an application by clicking on the "Build Job Application" link. This application can be saved and used to apply for more than one job opening. Online applications are stored on a secure site. Only authorized Human Resources staff and hiring authorities have access to the information submitted.
Applications may be rejected if incomplete.
APPLY FOR OPEN POSITIONSWhen ready to apply for an open position, click the 'View All Open Positions' link. When you find the job(s) you are interested in applying for, click the title of the position. You will find a green APPLY button at the top right corner of the page.
Once you are done and submitted your application you will receive an email confirmation. This email will confirm you successfully applied with the City of Cocoa for one of our open positions.
Please note that the Human Resources Division no longer accepts paper applications. Your online application must be received in the online system by 11:59 p.m. (EST) on the closing date listed on the job announcement, otherwise you will not be considered for the position.
NEOGOV is accessible online 7 days a week / 24 hours a day. If you do not have access to a computer, the City of Cocoa has a Computer available during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm) in the lobby of City Hall.
