The Chief of Police is responsible for the Communications Center.

Manager Communications Center
The Police Technology Manager is the person responsible for the overall direction of the Communications Center.

Day-to-day operations are handled by the Lead Communication Officers.

Staff Members
Authorized staffing for the Communications Center is 14 full time personnel. Communications personnel go through a public safety background investigation before they are hired.

Entry-level Communications personnel receive approximately four months of training before being released to function without the direct supervision of a Communications Training Officer.

Incoming Calls
The Communications Center processed 58,069 calls for service in our Computer Aided Dispatch System in the fiscal year 2010.
